2nd & 4th Sunday during school terms | During the 10:30am Service
Discovery Groups are held during the 10:30am service on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of every month during school terms. This is open to all high schoolers, and is a great time to dig deep into God's word together and support each other in our faith walk. Our great desire is that you would know Jesus personally and be better equipped to take Him to the world. It is split into a few different groups (younger boys, younger girls, older boys, older girls) and finishes at 12:30pm. The youth kids will be in the service for worship and then head out when the sermon starts. Those who attend the 8:30am service are welcome to bring their youth kids down at 11:00am or they can sit with their friends and leaders during the 10:30am service.
1st & 3rd Sunday during school terms | During the 8:30am Service
Teenagers in grades 7 and 8 are invited to attend ‘Launch’, an age-specific program during the 8:30am service (starting at approximately 8:45am). 'Launch' is held on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month during school terms in the Chapel area near the entrance to the church building. It is aimed at equipping new youth age kids to dig deep in their relationship and knowledge of God.
Friday evenings during school terms | 6:30pm - 9:00pm
At Discovery Youth we believe that everyone is on a journey of discovery. Discovering who they are and what they believe. Every week we have a whole heap of fun, games and hangs in a safe environment. We also take the time to discuss life’s big questions, because what you believe affects how you live your life. We believe that Jesus is the best discovery you could make, but we invite you to wrestle with this for yourself. Come ready to hang, have fun and wrestle with some awesome topics! - don’t forget to fill in the Registration Form before your first visit.
