Our Story

Over 100 years ago a Baptist work began in the Wynnum Manly District, land was purchased and a new church was opened and dedicated on Saturday 21st December 1912. During those 100 years God has grown the church family in size from those small beginnings, challenging them at every stage of their journey with Him to trust Him in the next step. Additional buildings were added and purchased along the way until it was realised that the site on Bay Terrace was inadequate for the needs of the congregation. Our present site on Kianawah Road was purchased and developed and the facilities were officially opened on 4th March 2006. In those subsequent years God has continued to grow the church family and a diverse range of ministries have developed to address the needs of people of all ages.
