Water Baptism:
Your Journey Begins Here

“And now why do you wait? Rise and be baptised and wash away your sins, calling on his name." — Acts 22:16

What is Baptism?

Baptism represents a profound step of faith for those who have placed their trust in Jesus, acknowledging Him as their Saviour and the forgiveness of their sins. As described in the Book of Acts, baptism marks a pivotal moment: the old life is set aside, and a new life committed to following Jesus begins. It’s a public declaration of faith and obedience, symbolised through water baptism.

Step 1:

Prepare for Baptism

Course: Am I Ready for Baptism?

Begin your baptism journey by enrolling in our concise online course, designed to explore the significance of baptism and prepare you spiritually for this step. This course includes:

  • A 15-minute, informative lesson that covers all you need to know about baptism.

  • A deeper dive into the eight most commonly asked questions about baptism.

  • An inspiring virtual journey to significant sites in Israel, providing historical insights into the practice of baptism.

Step 2:

Schedule your Baptism

Reach out to schedule your baptism and discuss any questions you may have about this significant step. Our Pastors are here to support and encourage you throughout your journey.

Additionally, we offer assistance in writing your faith story - a testament to God's work in your life, which can be shared during your baptism as a source of encouragement to the congregation. Note that sharing your story is optional; the act of baptism itself is a powerful declaration of faith.

Step 3:

Baptism Day Details

On your Baptism day:

  • What to bring - a towel, full change of clothes, and a plastic bag for your wet clothes.

  • Apparel advice - choose attire that provides modest coverage and will not become transparent when wet.

  • Support - if you wish, arrange for someone special to pray for you post-baptism or to be ready with your towel.

  • Upon arrival - please check in with the Pastor and Worship Leader to confirm the final details of your baptism.

We look forward to celebrating this milestone with you as you publicly declare your faith and commitment to a life with Christ.
